About us:
We are a practice that has continued to grow since opening in the summer of 2016. Our team is headed up by our two owners: Vet Jenny and Practice Manager Laura. Jenny qualified from Liverpool in 2012 and spent a few years in Wales before marrying a scouser and moving back to Liverpool as a locum. Her second locum placement was at newly opened Burscough Vets4Pets and here she has stayed ever since! Laura our practice manager joined the team a few years later and was coaxed to the owner side, she is fabulous at dealing with all our clients and she is always there to listen and help solve any problems (whether work related or not).
We are proud of the relationship we have developed with our clients and put this at the front of all we do. Many of our clients have been with us since the beginning and we have loved watching their families grow (both pet and human). We treat each pet as an individual, working with owners to provide the most suitable care for both the pet and the owner.
You will be supported by our fantastic team; in addition to Jenny the vet team also includes a further two experienced vets who have varied interests but all share a passion for general practice. Our nursing team is the heart of our practice, some home grown and others joining us at various points in their nursing careers. They are made up of our Head Nurse, five RVNs, two Student Nurses and two Veterinary Care Assistants. Their commitment to the pets we treat has earned us ISFM Silver Cat Friendly and RWAF Silver Rabbit Friendly practice awards. Many of our nurses are trained in schedule 3 procedures and most of our nursing clinics are charged for to ensure our clients value their service.
We are also lucky enough to have our great front of house team. This is made up of a Client Care Manager, three Client Care Advisors and a Practice Administrator. Our experienced team provide a warm, friendly and engaging welcome to all clients and their pets. Equipped with a wide range of knowledge, our reception team can triage patients and manage diary bookings effectively and efficiently.
