Registered Veterinary Nurse

Job Description

We are a close-knit, team at Middlesbrough Cleveland Park and are lead by our JVPs and Veterinary Surgeons, Andrew and Sophie.  As well as providing an excellent standard of care to our patients we pride ourselves on creating a really friendly practice atmosphere and want our team to enjoy the time they spend at work.

This new RVN role will be a mixture of consults and theatre work.  Within our vet team we have interest in soft tissue surgery and exotics making this an interesting and varied role with excellent opportunities for development.   We encourage our nurses to undertake schedule three activities and are happy to support any CPD in a particular area of interest.  We hold monthly team meetings and regular 1 to 1s which gives all our colleagues the chance to have their say when it comes to practice protocols and their own progression.

This is a full time position working 35 to 40 hours per week, including 1 in 3 Saturdays. We are open 9am – 7pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 2pm on Saturdays and we are looking for someone to be part of our Saturday rota when you will have the support of a VCA as well.  We are closed Sunday’s and bank holidays.
