Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen at our small animal practice in Tilehurst for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team.
Based on the busy Reading Retail Park in the Pets at Home store, we can offer a fantastic location to work, close to Reading town centre, as well as boasting some state-of-the-art equipment and plenty of onsite parking.
You will be joining an existing team of 2.5 vets, 2 Nurses (including our brilliant students), 3 VCA’s and 3 CCA’s.
By joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential, admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering, and discharging patients to name a few. Our super ANAs and an SVN are always on hand to assist with consults, turning around theatre, patient prep etc.
To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be kind and cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.
This is a Full OR Part Time Role working up to 40 hours per week with 2 in 4 Saturdays, NO OOH with great flexibility
