Job Description

Our Central Kidderminster Vets for Pets practice is undergoing an exciting time of growth and have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team.

This is a Full Time role working 35 to 40 hours per week, including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 9am to 12:30pm.

With state-of-the-art facilities and a strong team of veterinary professionals, we provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for small animals. We pride ourselves on our collaborative work environment and emphasis on professional development.

The team has grown within the practice, advancing their veterinary careers here. Our head nurse and senior RVN started as locums before becoming permanent, while Gemma, our Practice Manager, joined as a VCA nine years ago. Both Karina and Gemma are trained Mental Health First Aiders.

The team is supported by a dedicated client care team, five RVNs (including a Nursing Clinical Lead), one SVN, 3 Vets (including our Practice Owner), a Pharmacy Assistant, a Hygiene Technician, and a VCA.

About the Role:
By joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential, admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering, and discharging patients. Assistance from VCAs and an SVN with turning around theatre, patient prep.

To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. We are going through exciting changes in practice with our rebrand and refurbishment so someone who is comfortable with change is essential.
