About us
Launceston Vets4Pets is a locally owned RCVS accredited small animal, rabbit friendly practice. We’re well set up to offer exceptional service to our patients and growing client base with a lovely team, 3 consult rooms, theatre, separate cat and dog areas, new ultrasound and all the equipment you’d expect from a high standard practice. Our team have their own space too due to the great relationship we have with the team at the Pets at Home store we’re based inside.

Straight off the dual carriageway, the practice itself is based on a busy retail park with ample parking and popular amenities like M&S nearby. 

The team and our culture
We work hard for our patients, each other and for our local community, often enjoying attending local events and supporting charities in our community.

Led by practice owner Joanna who is currently working towards a dermatology certificate, you’ll be joining a sociable and talented team of 2 other vets, 3 RVNs, 1 student nurse, 2 kennel assistants and 4 receptionists. We communicate well as a team, holding small group meetings in practice and socialising together outside of work!

You and the role
The role required is part time with just 1 to 2 days per week and 1 in 4 Saturdays and will involve a mix of soft tissue surgery and consultations, which are 15-minutes as standard. 

In joining our team and supporting a great community and client base, we are looking for a colleague with solid GP experience, a team player with great communication skills and someone that shares our passion for providing the highest level of veterinary care.

• Salary between £50,000 - £60,000 FTE, commensurate with experience
