Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team at Glasgow Forge Vets for Pets.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude are essential for interacting with clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
This is a part-time role, approximately 10 hours a week.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction during interactions.
- Ability to drive is advantageous for reaching different job sites efficiently.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
