Are you a passionate and enthusiastic RVN looking to join a welcoming and friendly team? Our small animal practice in Braintree has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to become part of our established and supportive practice.

About the Role:
You will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential, working with varied and interesting caseloads. Responsibilities include conducting nurse consults, 2nd vaccinations, post-op checks, bandage changes, and weight clinics, as well as assisting with surgical cases and inpatient care.

We are looking for an RVN with good general nursing experience, great customer service skills, and a genuine interest in animal welfare. You should be cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic, with a passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and excellent client service.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a shared weekend rota of just 1 in 4 weekends. We also consider part-time hours (3-4 days per week). There is no OOH (Out of Hours) work required. Shift patterns include 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, and 11:15 am - 7:15 pm, all including a 30-minute lunch break.

About Us:
Our established practice consists of a supportive team of 5 Vets, 4 RVNs, 2 Student Nurses, 4 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager. We are based inside a popular Pets at Home store in Freeport Shopping Village, just a 5-minute walk from the train station, 20 minutes from Stansted Airport, and 45 minutes from the coast.
