About this practice

We are looking for a successful and commercially minded Vet (or group of people including a Vet) to build upon the last 15 years of growth this practice has seen, and take the business to the next level of success. You will be the sole decision maker(s) and will implement your strategy, taking full responsibility for the leadership and the direction in which the practice moves.

Since the doors opened in 2008, the practice has a good reputation in the local area with a strong, active client caseload, of which a large proportion are insured.

Located close to the centre of town and in the vicinity of a larger retail park, the practice is situated inside a Pets at Home pet care centre, where it’s found at the rear of the store, on the ground floor. Building relationships with the in-store team to drive footfall and maximise commercial opportunities is an added benefit of this in-store practice. The practice is supported with plenty of free onsite parking for clients and colleagues.

The practice, which has just undergone a refurbishment of the clinical workspace, has a caseload of approximately 4,500, split canine/feline/exotics, with a small number of reptiles. It is a purpose-built practice, with three consult rooms (one with X-ray), a large theatre and separate prep area, and pharmacy. There are also separate cat and dog kennels and isolation wards. Equipment at the practice includes a digital X-ray, ultrasound scanner, dental machine/kit, multiparameter anaesthetic monitor, ECG, BP monitor, and a mobile ICU.

Vets for Pets Salisbury provides an excellent opportunity to build upon an existing varied caseload.
