Hexham is a market town and civil parish in Northumberland, England, on the south bank of the River Tyne, formed by the confluence of the North Tyne and South Tyne at Warden nearby, and close to Hadrian's Wall. Newcastle upon Tyne is 25 miles to the east and Carlisle is 37 miles to the west, with neighbouring smaller towns and villages include Corbridge, Riding Mill, Bellingham, Allendale and Bardon Mill.
